Glad to see they're making games again - it seems they've been appearing on TV programmes about games since ever

I have a suspicion the game will fall into my shopping trolley tomorrow when I go to Tesco.

Here we go, a top-quality movie. Show's what you can do with the software.

I think when we're all in the year 2005 we have a movie-making competition.

I have just found out how to delete stuff, which was causing me much consternation as my stars were not happy with their crappy trailers.

I would say this game is a mix of a few games. Keeping your stars happy is very much like the Sims, arranging your lot is very similar to Theme Park, and the movie-making is like Batman & Robin Cartoon Maker (or MS Movie Maker).

I've certainly spent a lot of time in all of those games, especially doing custom stuff instead of playing them "properly". Made prisons and hospitals in Sims, CDC Rollercoasters in TP and many "hilarious" cartoons where Robin ends up gretting bummed.

Thank jizzum.
My top-class researchers are getting technologies 15 years before anyone else. I've just discovered top-class ultimate Sci-Fi costumes, so all of my scifi people can wear special GCI suits.

I rather like the gient robot-dude that collapses into a cube.

Yay! I got this yesterday and I've already put a bath on the front lawn of 5punk 5tudio's lot.

I will, naturally, be making mostly zombie movies.

No one has provided me with pictures of themselves or a suitable COD storyline yet :( There will be a bath when that happens.

So do want real names and pictures then? If you want a more serious storyline:

A true story from the second world war is that of a British Leiutenant and his German counterpart. Both were commanders of recon units on the far southern flanks and neither cared particularly for fighting. They arranged that fighting would stop at 17:00 and resume at 08:00, until the Germans spotted a British lorry full of supplies and captured it - after cease of play.
The German Lt immediately ordered his men to let the the British drivers take their vehicle back to their own lines, and apologised for breaking the rules.

Later the Germans captured the British Lt, who was related to a wealthy tycoon in the cigarette industry. The British officer's rich relation (uncle or something) offered something like a million cigarettes to the German officer in return for his nephiew. The German office gratefully accepted. The British officer, however, refused to be handed over stating that he was worth a damn sight more than that.

I found this a rather touching story and always thought it'd make a nice wartime comedy.

Thankyou for the review and pie!

Yes, I'm looking for names (Ie. Coporal Bobbins, Private Jinxx etc) and pictures, so I can meke people beforehand in the starmaker, and make them pretty good at action scenes. On the subject of a storyline, although yours sounds good (Albeit a little confusing) I want something 5punk-COD based.

Something involving a bath.

Yays for making my first custom movie! It was rubbish; Mrs Pants watched it and said 'what was that all about?'. The lead actress's dress changed twice, the bad guy's hair changed colour half way through and I hadn't noticed during filming but as the lead rides off into the sunset she falls off her horse. Doh!

Zombie movies clearly the way forward.

Yay! My first zombie movie. 'Twas a random generated one but I liked it:

Squad firefight in ruined Berlin.
German soldier lies dead in street.
German soldier gets up and lurches towards old female Russian soldier.
Russian slodier shoots German zombie soldier.
Zombie carries on lurching.
Russian soldier picks up bazooka and blows zombie to bits.
The end.

Fantastic!
