C:\Documents and Settings\*your username*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default
where "xxxxxxxx" is a random 8 character string. Copy the Bookmarks.html somewhere save, then delete the "xxxxxxxx.default" folder. Start Firefox up and then close it. Put the Bookmarks.html in the new "xxxxxxxx" folder, then open FIrefox again and istall whatever extensions you want.

Uh, boot into "Safe Mode with command prompt" and then break out your DOS commands to delete them. The Incredible... wrote:i can't delete that folder becuase one or more of the files in it are corrupt. reinstaling firefox doesn't work becuse as the uninstall is not able to delete the crrupt files they are still tehre when it is reinstaled
Or do what Stoat said, it's probably easier. Although I'd still delete the old stuff because it'd bug the shit out of me.
