Friz was justified in posting as his requests had been ignored. The main perpetrator has apologised, and I would encourage any others to do the same, or at least limit their invites to known, active players.
The 5punk clan feature in XFire is a useful feature to link us together without having to maintain personal addressbooks, but please respect each other's games, take a little more care and don't overuse it.
Having said that, this community is built around XFire's capability to quickly organise impromtu games, so I'd suggest that anyone who is playing something and does not wish to be interrupted set the "disable XFire in-game" option.
I don't really see this as an Eve vs. issue, as Joose expressed similar dissatisfaction while not playing Eve, so much of the silliness was rather unneccesary.
Please keep it 5punky in the public forums, I'm sure most people are aware of what constitutes good-natured ribbing and what does not. If you are annoyed about something, a terse, factual message invariably has more impact than an emotional one.

OK as the oldest member I think it is my right to say
"GET TO YOUR ROOM!! AND STAY THERE UNTIL YOU HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE SAID"
Then I shall open a bottle of wine and get pished.
The above is not directed to anyone in particular.. just don't like arguing 'specially over games, which in the whole are supposed to be fun... aren't they?
