You killing each other evily or working 5punkily to nail Mr Computer? I'm crap at these sorts of games but might be persuaded if another 5punker held my hand throughout
Supcom is one of those rare gaims that would A) take me a week to floor and B) I like enough (and this is really rare mind) of the demo to want to part with cash for.
It was fun. I was shit tho, my economy was a load of wank and kept me out of the game in any real capacity.
Last night I played 1v1 against AI on the hardest level and got my arse fed to me, and then a 1v1 on medium and did quite well until he got heavy artillery without me spotting it and managed to take out my reactors which in turn took out half my base.
I think it is the size of the map that neutered the AI more than the difficulty they were set at.
That game was immense fun. So much so in fact that I forgot to eat (asides from Cherry Bakewells and a packet of Spicy Jalapeno and Lemon flavoured crisps, the latter of which upset my delicate stomach).
India - BOOM!
Korea - BOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Only problem was my land units that seemed to take half an hour to move 2 steps. That's the third time now I've built a big monkeyrobotthing and it's done bugger all.
I finished the UEF campaign yesterday, bit dissapointed with the length (Pffft) of only 6 missions.
I started off on easy though with the intention of seeing if I liked the game (I do) and to get to the superweapons faster, although as it turns out I played with them in the multiplayer games first.
Going to try Aeon on medium then Cybran on hard.
The final mission of UEF was really good and even on easy it was fairly tough, I'm glad that through our multiplayerings I learnt how important Nuke defence is!, one still got through though so things were a bit tense for a while.
I suspect I'll get my ass handed to me on higher levels
I think I'm gonna buy it actually, aside from the attraction of a French tech tree you get with it (apparently much more widespread than Just Roman getting one , and you can email them to request an english one) some proper online play is quite appealing, there is a BEEF style ranking system and launching today is a google maps style world map showing where Sup Com games are being played, actually I'm not really sure what the point of the map thing is

I forgot about that, I was supposed to go back to Gamestation and get one. Any ideas what the email address is? Not that I look at it that much.

Fret not - the message is probably heard by an automatic computer listen-o-tron and then promptly dispatched automagically to an address in Scunthorpe, regardless of where you actually live.
