Here's my wonky desktop from home, to illustrate why I've left it as bliss:

I let the 60 day thing clean the desktop, there are 197 objects in the Unused Desktop Icons folder.

Woah, I found a pic of my old Win98 desktop:

<img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a115/ ... linux2.gif" border="0">

It's actually a simplified version of an "active desktop" I had from when IE4 was all new and clever, I'll see if I can dig it out.

And here's mine, from my work computer. The computer I use to do work on rather than play games and watch movies, that is. I like things uncluttered (and yes, Start Menu contents are nice and tidy too).

Exciting, huh? :P

Desktop picture is of the Cat's Eye nebula - which quite frankly looks cocking ace in my opinion.

I used to have a massive Hubble image of the Crab Nebula on my wall. I bloody love space, me.

Don't forget the Lunar eclipse tonight (totality is around 22300hrs, I think).

Very nice. I'm considering getting a new, bigger monitor as a single 19" makes me feel inadequate.
