I've never owned a 'console', never intend to own a 'console', and everytime I've played a game that some sell-out fuckwit publisher has half heartedly ported from a 'console' it's been crap. I'm also having an 'inverted commas' day.

I have bought both the Playstation, and the Playstation 2. When I first got them, it was like "Woo yay new thing!" but in my old(er?) age (17? :() I've been getting much less and less of this at anything. For example my DS lite has probably had about 4hours gameplay in 2-3 months.. its a shameful waste of money.
I was lucky to be able to get £20 to sell my PS2 a couple of weeks back.. The only possible reason I may buy a PS3 would be as a blu-ray player, but I can't see much of a market in HDTV stuff until blu-ray or HDDVD players become cheap (Less than £100) therefore, I won't be buying a PS3 anywhere near launchdate (Perhaps when they're about to release the PS4? If it ever gets any backing  )
