can you get anything out of it at all or do you feel like you're looking into the empty abyss that is your soul?

no sparks etc...

ducked under the desk to plug it in came up, wiped my mouth, and there was nowt on either screen

so i rebooted and it said, it talks to me on POST, how cool is that, "System failed due to CPU overclocking"

i know this not too be true as i've not fiddled in ages and it's at stock

another reboot and it said "vga test failed" :(

swapped in a beasty sis vigure PCI card and it booted fine

i take it it is an ASUS board?

could your monitor have statically fried your gpu when you plugged it in?
sounds pretty fecked, is it under warranty?

No! Al, how can this have happened?!!! Not in your shiny and cool case... I'm so disillusioned right now.
