Yep I'm still successfully fucking the whole domain transfer thing up.
I fucking rock at fucking networky things up
For the time being you can access http://www.5punk.urevised.com/
If anyone's clever about web hosting and nameservers/dns etc, then please give us a shout, as I need some assistance

It looks like they told me the wrong fucking nameservers
They had DNS issues a few days back, and told everyone to change the nameservers, so I did this, yet they are now telling me to use the original ones
I have now added the 2 "correct" ones and turned off "web forwarding" in my 123-reg control panel
*crosses fingers for 24hr's*

this is correct, and I am having an absolute nightmare getting it to work.Joose wrote:as do i, at the moment. But I believe WEY is attempting to migrate the whole thing to a different server.
I am off on holiday for a long weekend in Ireland starting tomorrow, so I won't be around to check if www.5punk.co.uk is working or not.
I have uploaded all the relevant "website files" to the new hosting, but at the moment, the new web hosting seems to be down, so once this has been resolved, hopefully 5punk.co.uk will work.
Until this works, I won't touch the forum.
Anyway, look after the place, keep it tidy, and if you spil anything there's some stain remover in the cupboard under the sink.
Have a good weekend all

Well I'm back, and it looks like Stoat has been a busy badger getting the Xfire/Xbox images integrated into the board.
Good job
As for my new hosting, I am absolutely appauled that it's still utterly fucked up.
I have come back to find out they have changed my control panel, the location of my html files, and now my 5punk.co.uk domain name is unregistered with their nameservers again.

Well I'm glad the forums are still up together.
P.S. Ireland was nice. (Sort of)

Erk. Have a rant and a rave at them and try and get some money back. When I finally buy hosting I'm just gonna have to go with the people who provided my domain so I don't go through all this trouble.Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:Well I'm back, and it looks like Stoat has been a busy badger getting the Xfire/Xbox images integrated into the board.
