Tandino, I noticed that your farm is right next door to where I am building so I popped round. You had lots of wheat but no carrots or pumpkins so I planted some for you. Might want to harvest and replant, I just planted them anywhere.

I did start building something on a hill, but ended up logging off as soon as it got dark

on the sprog's server, so they can suck without danger, but I suspect that's a bit too easymode for 5punkers

Is there any objection from other players to having keep inventory on death? It'd be fine with me.

I don't know that there's any way to make it 100% permanent, ie. I can set the command, but I believe it will be lost if the server restarts for whatever reason. I'm playing with command blocks anyway, so I'll investigate something with those.

I'd be fine with that. I'd also quite like the mod that makes trees more like cacti, so that when you chop away one block the others above it fall down.

I've enabled 'keepInventory', so if you die you respawn with your inventory intact.

This server is vanilla only for now, no mods. I don't believe the mod infrastructure is available for 1.7 anyway. We can do something with some small mods when it is, it's something I'm keen on as well. It will require a modded client.

That's good because I'm routinely digging directly up at the moment so lava risk is high.

In case the keep inventory switch goes off I've set up a button near spawn. It's on a small tower of bedrock with a tree on top, as you do. It can be pushed as much as you like without risk, it also gives you a speed boost to get back home faster.

Handy. I expect most people have beds, and my house is near the spawn anyway, but I might have a play with it anyway.

I've moved my enchanting table into the corner at (I think) Fab's, ran out of wood for making shelves, but there's books in one of his chests.

Also, I've moved out of my old fort, so feel free to loot it.
