Eh, those omelettes don't taste like anything. Probably not worth the effort to chew unless you're real hungry. What about the rest of you, you guys also not know your own names?
Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
I was going to ask you guys the same question. I just woke up on the roof and I have no idea where the hell we are...................in fact who the hell am I?

Sofa-man stands up and stretches out
He gets up and stretches, looks about for any Champaigne that may remain, then to whatever passes for a fridge to mix it with anything resembleing fruit juice, then settles at the table with the others.
Piecea crap screen, fuck it

Breakfast of champions, now, how are we all this morning?

Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
The omelette tastes of nothing to you too. Both of you feel no more full having eaten either.
There is a little champagne left in a discarded bottle, and some orange juice in the fridge. The resulting drink tastes...well, to your characters surprise (though im guessing not yours by now), it tastes of nothing.

I'll decide against the omelette and take a look at my company. And myself for that matter. Do you have descriptions for us Joose, or do we provide them ourselves?

Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
Now that you mention it, I don't remember my name either. Food that doesn't taste like anything, TVs just playing static, people who don't know their own names...
Really makes you think...

Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
Feel free to come up with descriptions of yourself. Within reason, obviously. You are all Splicer morphs, which are basically humans with the flaws removed, so anything normal human is fine.

Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
He goes back to his chopping, ignoring the question.
Ok, everyone make a COGx3 test to see what you can recall, and.....I've just realised that Perception is a skill, not an in built attribute. Here are your Perception skills:
TSD: Perception 45
Deject: Perception 50
munchkin: Perception 45
Pants: Perception 55
So now you can all make perception rolls too. Its just like the COGx3 roll, only you are trying to roll under your Perception. Double is a critical (11, 22, 33 etc), and if you get more than 30 below your skill you have made an "excellent success".

Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
I'll take a couple minutes with my COGx3 to give me a +20 (am I doing this right?):
COGx3: 75 + 20 = 95
6,1 = 61
COGx3: 75 + 20 = 95
6,1 = 61
Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
It's a funny thing, this game. Everyone being in splicer morphs means you're kind of limited in your choice of body-style. I wanted to look like Edgar out of Men In Black. Never mind, the Pants morph is still a bit heavy set and lived in, middle aged, and wearing a bit too much denim. Joose, how much do we know about the EP backstory? Do we know (remember) about The Fall?
My roll, at any rate:
COGx3 = 30
Roll(2d10)+0:
9,1,+0
Total:91
Faildogs. I jus' ain't none too bright maw.

Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
Yep, that works. I'll only allow a couple of minutes of "errrrrm" time though, so you can all have a max of +20 for taking your time on this.deject wrote:I'll take a couple minutes with my COGx3 to give me a +20 (am I doing this right?):

Deject, you remember your name (you can make one up), and that you are pretty sure this isn't your house. Although you are sure you have never been here before, you also have a pretty strong sense of deja vu. You do recognise the others, but you have no idea where from.
Don't forget to do a perception check too!
You don't know nuffin, guv. I should probably be a bit more specific here, actually: the only stuff you do remember is your from your childhood, on Earth, and everything was fine and dandy. Fall? What Fall? Basically, if I've not said it here, you don't remember/know about it.Dog Pants wrote:It's a funny thing, this game. Just go with it, it'll all make sense in the end. Hopefully

EDIT: Oh, and Pants, you need to do a perception test too! Everyone, perception tests! Two tests total, each!
Re: Eclipse Phase: Terminal Velocity
Well, going from my inspiration I'll call myself Edgar Black. A hairy yokel called Ed, who'd have thought? :p
Perception: 55
Roll(2d10)+0:
3,7,+0
Total:37
Roll(2d10)+0:
4,1,+0
Total:41

No, I mean two test, including the cog test. A cog test, and then a perception test. Two tests. I'll take your first as the result.
