It was the best at the time, and is still good - I just find right-click camera moving more "instinctive" than MMB(ie: wheel)-clicking or using the keyboard
You can add your own character portraits. Problem Solved.
Hooray, here's she is, top left (1).
The group is all important in D&D. A group full of pricks is worse than no group at all. And Solo'ing leaves you with too many things you just cant do. (such as taking on dragons without resorting to silly tactics.) It really is all about teamwork. For instance, there was a bit in a game we played at uni involving a Dire Bear. If he had taken it on individually, it would have creamed us. So my Paladin acted as bait, putting in the occasional hit to keep its interest, then running like a mother fucker. The priest kept me alive with healing spells. The mage and the ranger pelted the bear with arrows and magics. Dead bear.
All about balance, I've heard. Fortunately all my characters are very well balanced, being utterly crap at everything.
I think the character I got furthest with was a druid, propbaly mainly so I could send my pet to get creamed while I legged it.
We tried this once. Once.
It is....less than good.
EDIT: Since we have sufficient interest, shall I go ahead and 5chedule a game? Just as a trial run, like? Also, and preferance for date/time?
Go for it!
