Minecraft: Planetoids

If you've got the time and interest I suggest to watch their Minecraft videos from the start. The first series gets very strange from the end of part 21. Inspiration for what Minecraft could become. :)

Hah! Yes, these guys are excellent. Their new series, where they have to survive on a tiny island, Survivor style, has just reached (or rather I have just reached) its Odd point.

Done. I've seen a technique of hiding openings using paintings. You can walk through paintings.

Cheers! Sadly a painting would make it a bit obvious where the opening is!

Not if you're clever with the placement. Don't you have an art gallery you culture-less slob?

I was intending it to go in the library you heathen!
I do like the thought of an art gallery, I suppose I could hang some in the reading room

Is it just me, or is our server not working? I don't seem to be able to connect.

minecraft.net is having issues, it's not just you. I can't even connect to a server on my own computer right now.

I can't test from work. Although there's been problems with the central Minecraft auth server for the past day or two. I've restarted our server anyway.

There is a fix but I'd rather not apply it as it opens the server to admin spoofing. If the problem with persists I'll have to.

If you want to get around this you can set "online-mode=false" in the server.properties file.

New Project

I was thinking about recreating the Valparaiso Village map from Bad Compay 2 (thats the one with the annoying sniper camped lighthouse) It's a massive map and will require an assload of landscaping etc, might take longer than isengard.
Anyone interested in lending a hand?

Count me in when I'm on. Desperately trying to write stuff for BeardBash at the moment though.

Sounds good. Have you found a suitable plot?

Pants' stories are always suitably unsuitable.

I can see your login session timed out, that's usually due to the Minecraft auth server. I can't see any problems with our server in the log, restarted anyway.

There seems to be something wrong on my side, I just left the server and can't join again. Going to see if it lets me in in an hour.
