Sounds good to me. It worked ok for the while I tested it. If you get lagwonk logging back in seems to fix it.

Server seems to work well enough now. Thanks to those helping with the testing. The server is running with a new world, which I hope is quite interesting. It's not that Christmasy though.
Here's a couple of things to bear in mind that aren't listed on
Notch's blog :
- The immediate spawn area is protected and can only be changed by admins/ops . It's not a large area.
- The trick of dropping tools to regenerate their durability no longer works.
- SMP is dangerous, be afraid.
- Stoat is building a near-spawn base for those joining at night.
- Set your view distance to Normal.

I've deleted your player file, that might help.

And update your Java software. Others seem okay.

So yeah,
Seems to work fine now.
Best with less than five people on.
I spent the entire night building a tower to mark the start of the new server. Someone built a wall, so I just put a path through it... Hope to see y'all on later.
[edit] Although now it it telling me the server is outdated.[/img]

Changes are afoot. I've moved our server to a proper host on the Internet. My home Internet was not up to the job of hosting more than a few players.
See
here for the new server name.
/edit
No more fancy map website for now. May come back later but is trickier when the server is hosted elsewhere.

Getting a time out error when trying to connect.
Is it just me?

Restarted the server. I'll sort something out so site admins can do it in my absence.

Tried restarting a couple of times, no joy. I'll take a look tomorrow.
