They're not easy to find, neither were the wired controllers, but I got one eventually today.

Pestered support.

Code: Select all

Hello Berk, Thank you for contacting Steam Support. Please complete a new purchase of a game of equal or greater value to your Steam account. If you wish, you may combine several games into a single cart purchase to reach the needed amount. Reply to this ticket once the purchase has been completed. Upon confirming your purchase on the account, I will cancel and refund your order for the original purchase. This offer is not valid for pre-order games, your new purchase may only be for game(s) that have already been released. This offer will only be valid for the next 15 days.
Ended up with the games I wanted, and plants vs zombies :)

Not a steam sale, but worth mentioning;

For those of you that do not own STALKER: Call of Pripyat yet (such as me): This thing called impulse driven is offering it for cheap here.
You have to install some extra software called Impulse Now (what's in a name eh) which is like steam but not good, apparently.
This is quite handy for those of you that wanted to use the steam discount thing but couldn't because they didn't have the steam version of STALKER. I personally don't mind installing the extra stuff for ten measly euros.

I should buy it, I'm using a borrowed copy of the game.

However, the portal grind can be avoided by not going to Skingrad or seeing Jaffrey until you really want to.

Currently my level 8 character has 75 Alteration and 80ish Sneak, along with lots of other "minor" skills in the 50's. I love abusing in game systems.
