I've heard a rumour that there was someone/a group of people who managed to - through glorious save-you-from-hackers-isn't-it-wonderful! IWnet - send a virus to players who connect to them. Sounds a bit far fetched but so has every other thing about MW2 so at this point I wouldn't be surprised...
Personally I enjoyed the SP. Not as much as the SP on MW1, perhaps because the ideas were fresher then. Although there is more variety in this game, perhaps too much ludicrous variety. But why not? We're in videogame land. Yes, it is frustrating in parts and there are infinite respawns (I assume), but it's also an exciting roller coaster ride of over the top shooting action. In my opinion.
It's even shorter than I was expecting. I don't know whether I've finished an SP campaign in a day before. I wanted to get it done so I could start on the MP action. The co-op only campaigns sound especially interesting.
Anyone has for 360? would like to try some of the co-op special ops missions with someone for some challenging 3 star action, though wont be till post sunday morning.
On reflection I realise that at no point was I engaged in the story or characters. All it felt like was a highly elaborate shooting gallery. Especially the supposedly controversial level.
That is because violent computer games have deadened the emotional centres of your brain. You are now completely devoid of emotion and empathy. You would think nothing of taking another person's life.

Keith Vaz was right.
To be fair, I doubt any of us would think twice given the opportunity to off Keith Vaz. Though it is debatable if he's people.
There are a few games that have very short single player modes. I remember moaning about Mass Effect because the single player (excluding Mr Sandbox) was less than 10 hours gameplay. The filler of MW2 is in the co-op "spec-ops" mode where you play scenes from the single player with a friend and hope to unlock stuff®
