just FYI, I am at work until 12pm central on Friday (6pm GST) and it will take me about an hour to get home, so it will be fairly late for you guys, but at least it is a Friday night!

Er, dunno now.
CST is GMT -6, but were on summer time still so that's -7, but I think so are they so that's -6 again. So, 12pm is mid-day minus the 6 so 6am no?

You're going the wrong way. He's -6 on GMT. We (if we go via GMT and not BST) are +6 to him. America is behind us, Japan is infront of us.
He finishes at rougly 6pm GMT if he finishes at 12pm CST (midday).
I think. Unless Deej means he's doing a late shift and working till midnight over there (12 AM), which'll be silly o'clock in the morning in the UK.

How confusing. Good job nobody's throwing European standard in there too. But then who the fuck, other than Blizzard, works off French time.

I'm aware of that, hence the part where I said it was mid-day.
I did however get lost with

I wasn't, given 12gmt -6 hours is 6am, unsurprisingly enough. but I did miss the 12cst and thought he meant gmt. Hence my error.
