As I've copied a rather idiosyncratic and bloated old xp install thaty I'm fond of it's all cranky and weird. But acronis has handily changed the drive letters and such, I'm ironing out a few niggles like short system hangs after videos closing and the 'what the shit!' problem which is actually a hdd thing I've discovered but generally I'm pretty chuffed with how painless it was.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:How did your experiments into imaging go?

edit: another thought, did you say the Fista clone disk function worked well?
I've not done anything with fista because I never use my install as it annoys me so much. I've tried a bit of registry merging with it and the win 7 beta, that actually worked quite well.
