Full Auto's a bit weird about modifiers. In the rule book it says you can apply all your bonuses apart from Rifle and Rate of Fire (determined by gun), however Dogpants has been erroneously adding Rate of Fire to the full auto roll, giving them more bullets hit.
We're allowed to do that now I've pointed it out.

ROF 3 gives a +2 bonus
ROF 5 is a +3
ROF 10 is a +4

These are added to your Rifle roll (and temporarily your Auto roll too).
As Deject said, you use the same roll for both skills, so your 7,10 is for Rifle and Auto.

Aim, range, recoil, stance, movement, light, cover, sights, wounds.

If it makes life easier I'll post a list of modifiers on the wiki, but I can't right now as I'm at work.

Yeah, the rules for combat are pretty complicated. I'm still making mistakes based on not remembering them properly. Once this BPN's over I'm going to go over all the combat rules and write them up clearly, to get them clear in my head, to amalgamate the house rules, and to give you guys a clear view of how it works.

Okay, so I am pretty much even with this guy as far as weapons go.. Soo... going to attempt to take him out using both fists :) Hopefully can help avoid his swing as well with some acrobatics? (dunno if that is what it is used for)

Acrobatics (6) 2+5 = 13

Right Hand Gash
Unarmed Combat (2) 4+9 = 15

Left Hand Gash
Unarmed Combat (3) 5+4 = 12

With a mod of 3 for strenght added? not sure to which or both or divided. (please tell me I didn't get hit again!)

The +3 only applies to damage, and you get it on each hand. Acrobatics doesn't affect melee, gymnastics does and it's a passive negative modifier to your opponent's attack. I'll write some melee stuff up when I do the combat overview.

Punkchuck: The skinny guy doesn't notice your attacks, but is concentrating on slashing at you with his vibrosabre. He misses though.

K'Trr hits with all rounds, causing the middle shooter to grimace.

Return spray fire from the two remaining shooters leaves K'Trr and Grimmie hit by a STD and a HEAP, and Dirk hit by a STD round.

Anyone for 5?

At least I didn't get hit! So I hit him and he is ignoring it? or I swung and missed. Gonna have another go here and wondering if I need to do anything in the future for aim or to actually hit him if I didn't.

You hit him fairly easily. He doesn't seem to be making much effort to avoid your attacks, but he also doesn't even flinch when you carve his flesh. In fact, two more hits and he doesn't appear to be bleeding either. He does hit you back this time though, for 4 PEN, 10 DAM, 2 AD.

Right, shotgun blast to the face, see if that unsettles this guy slightly. I believe this is long range for my UBS (Optimum is 5m).

to hit: +8 (Rifle) +1 (Scope) +1 (Bipod) -4 (headshot) = +6
4, 6 + 6 = 16

Fucking hell, I feel we may have come here a little unprepared.
Either that, or the new pen rules are just making this scary fight turn extremely scary.

Damage from those bullets..
-1HP -2AD from the Standard, and -2HP -2AD from the HESH.
Should be able to set my gun on its bipod for free on a DEX check for the next round.

I need to work on the rules for range and scopes, but for now we'll leave it as it is. The scope cancels out the range modifier, so it's a hit. Doesn't bother him too much though.

His metal face should at least be a tad dented by now. :lol: 5 10mm and a bunch of shot to the face is 17 AD!

Oh yeah, he looks a real mess. He also seems more than a bit crazy too though.

So does the skinny guy have one or two vibrosabres? And.. if i take aim for specific body parts like oh HIS ARMS, do I have a neg modifier? Also.. I am going to die soon. sheeeee it.

well if he is in fact a refurbished rustbucket then yeah he probably is rather crazy.

punkchuck, aiming for arms is a -1 to your attack roll, and I'd think he only has one vibrosabre. dual wielding in this game isn't generally used much.
