Free drawing software?
Looking for something like Paint.Net, but specifically for drawing plans to scale (AutoCAD style, but slightly less complicated). Any ideas?

sketchup is ok, can be a bit counter-intuative in places. But its free! Yay.
If you have acess to floors, and you want a cad package for components/parts etc i'd reccomend solidworks. For buildings etc, autocad is the standard. Probably worth haveing a crack at it, even if it is a bit complex at first. I think there are different versions as well, you might be able to find a cut-down simplified one.
