Clean all trace of it off your pc with something like ccleaner.Mr. Johnson wrote:Yes, but why does it keep crashing?
It started doing it way before I installed any add-ons...
Look for a list of known programs that spack it up, like anti-vir stuff that offers automajic homepage hijack protection and bits of IE lying about.
If you find any turn it all off and let a fresh install of FF do it itself.
Get your trusted add-ons back and curse the fact that you forgot to save/write down all your passwords or save a profile.
Passwords are stored in key3.db and signons.sqlite (or similar, depending on version). Do backup your profile folder (Run: "%APPDATA%/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/"), but for best results use it to cherrypick items to put in a fresh profile.HereComesPete wrote:Get your trusted add-ons back and curse the fact that you forgot to save/write down all your passwords or save a profile.

or in your mind, or on a piece of paper (I know, someone could just walk away with it, but a lot of the time, that's much less likely than some software hole fucking you over)
