Deject looked through the gap with his AV stalk and sees a crumbling lift shaft with a damaged lift car at the bottom. There looks like there's a gap between the top of the door and the top of the lift car.
Toast ports down onto the top of the lift car and looks through the gap into the basement below.
Grimmie pulls the top doors apart, setting off a concealed shotgun trap and copping a round in the chest.
Mephit charges into the shaft and jumps down to where Toats is.
Their combined weight causes the lift car to drop a foot, which pulls the cables, in turn pulling down the machinery balanced at the top.

Red line = Me triggering mangler.
Big thing falling at the top = Falling machinery
Gap = Space between dodgy lift car and basement door

Correct?

I think the battered lift is about to be a squashed lift along with yourselves if you don't either teleport the hell away, or break through that door ASAP.

It is 50m up DP said so you could possibly try climbing back up TSDs. Even if you get into the car below, there's a risk that will get crushed too.

Also, I think that the gap is between the top of the car you're on and the top of the elevator doors.

OK, then down to the next set of lift doors and a strength test;

I'm going to only pull one side of the doors open, and use it as cover from any booby traps if possible...

The elevator car is about two feet lower than it would be if it was at basement level, leaving two foot of doorway exposed. The bottom doors are already open, so Joose can port straight through into the basement. The top of the lift car is only a couple of meters below the floor level of the ground floor (where Dirk, Grimmie and Deject are), so Mephit could feasibly pull himself back up there, but the gap to the basement is within easier reach. The falling machinery is 50m up, so will take a couple of seconds to reach the bottom.

Grimmie slowly sits up and puts himself against a wall.

I could do with a jarfull of hit points please, shaken, not stirred.

And assuming that Mephit doesn't get squished..

Okkaaaaaay, could I get the Barman to hook me up with the leader of the subgang and how could I convince them to help us?

-3 for being unskilled. You still manage to get partially out of the way though. Damn, now I have to go looking for crushing rules...

... Which is that you take 1-5 hits of 8 DAM 4 AD, minus half your PV. Since I rolled 3 hits I'll split them between locations, one head, one left arm, one torso. You're on UV so no PHYS rolls required, but you need to make a STR -10 roll to get out from under the wreckage.

Phew, that was confusing.

PV 7 so is that -3 or -4?

So thats will either be 5 damage to each location, or

As for unpinning myself, thats 7+5+12-10=14

Double tap the kick start (2 doses) and let my armour heal a bit...

Sorry, I meant to be more specific. Armour is rounded up so it's -4. That means you take 4 DAM 4 AD each to your head, arm, and torso. You then drag yourself out from under the metal.

Ouch. So as far as getting down there, are the rest of us going to need to find another way down?
