Mine locked up after a few hours play when I first got it (to the point where I'd carry a paper-clip in my wallet so I could reset it), but after a firmware update it's been solid.deject wrote:haha and yeah thank god it does, I've already had to use it on mine because it just kinda locks up at times when it's plugged in and there's no other way to make it usable again except using the reset button.
I'm lolling at the Official Playstation Forums thread linked in the post. Everyone with a problem is being accused of trolling.

Yes, you would have to assume that any update system would make sure all the data was received before moving on.
