Spoiler:
All that speculation for nothing.

That Jenny's a bit of alright. Mixed blessing that she survived.
She was a little too excitable (but then, she gets it from dad).
But, she could prove interesting.

Was that time vortex fluff, terraforming fluff, or regeneration fluff spilling from her mouth there?

Good chance of her popping up in the future.
In short; Me likey

Spoiler:
Jenny was actually rather appealing to me, found her easy to like, but then it may just be shes cuutee as hell.
I was rather convinced they'd kill her since it would be hard to keep her, but then wow. First time I've been twisted by Dr Who. Could be very intresting!
The gass was the teraforming stuff.. I try not to think too deeply about Dr Whos Robinson Crusoe syndrome too much.
But the next episode looks a bit over dramatic.. More Jenny!
And whats with the spilt Tate? Sometimes her "comedy" act shows up and acts terribly, then other times she actually does quite well, its a shame really.

Spoiler:
Well, I was about to get angry and disappointed the writer was going to kill off the only other known Gallifreyan (granted, a semi clone) like they did with the Master, I'm glad they didn't, I can see her popping up again, hopefully involved in a bit more complex back story with at least her starting on the road to becoming a Time Lord (or Lady).

Wasn't a bad episode either, I did like the cloning 7 day twist, but I felt it was flawed, it should have been a couple of weeks, as the old geezer was a hell of a lot older than the rest of the 20's somethings, and nothing was mentioned about them aging once they left the machine.

I second the Terraforming gas, regeneration is more dramatic and involves changing appearance.

Also Time Lords can regenerate, but nothing is said of those who are of the same race but arn't Time Lords (yes, apparently there's a distinction according to wikipedia)
Next week looks a bit boring narf.

Spoiler:
I was surprised they didn't kill her off, I mean after literally just creating her in a manner of seconds (rather than having some kind of cool history and background to her existence) killing her off would have been the easy thing to do. I'm glad they didn't though, I like her overly-peppy character

But the master isn't dead. The last shot we saw of the master was a cackling laugh disappearing into his majick-hidey DNA ring thing of doooom methinks.
I don't remember that, I do remember someone nabbing his ring off the body that was on the funeral pyre.

I'm not even spoilering that, it's old hat and EVERYONE saw it.

Right, now for this weeks (17th May '08):
Spoiler:
Not a very good one this week.

The kitchen bit was utterly craptastic when the doctor is poisoned. The Priest/Wasp was...err, rubbish. Plot was convulted.

3/10

Next week doesn't seem to hold much promise either, but could be more fun.

Spoiler:
The idea behind the doctor being able to survive cyanide in the way shown is a pretty good one... the way it was done in a stupid catherine tate humour sort of way was just annoying... can she be killed off yet? I want that girl from Blink as a companion, she was fit!

That's the chap who wrote the Blink episode that everyone seemed to like
Should be in safe hands.

This Saturday's one, Silence in the Library, is another Moffat one, we shall see how it fares, not to mention he's the chap behind a fair bit of Coupling.

It looks to be a bit like the statues ones, where they've taken a really obvious childhood fear and tried to wrangle a story out of it. Hopefully with better results.

At least in this day and age you get rewarded with proper monsters at the end - it might be dumbing-down and us not using our imaginations, but I always felt ripped off when you only ever got a half-second glance of a bit of shiny fabric and then had to wait a week.
