It's not wow.
Imo less grief whilst getting into it is better, As soon as anyone becomes capable of beating on others then they try, bunch of fucking idiots. I'm going pve, if I enjoy it I might buy a sub and start on a pvp, for now I want minimal dickheads getting in my way of looking at the shiny and generally trying to break the game.

Arf, I can't even get in. No video at all, I can hear sound but I can't see shit (except for the mouse pointer). Updated my graphics driver as well

the levels really do make more of a difference. I'm a seven, and I can just about kill a level ten without dying, but if I aggro two by mistake I'm dead in seconds, can't even run away fast enough.
It's purty, the betaness of it does mean that it sometimes loads really slowly, other times it loads as fast as cod 4. The specials appear thick and fast, look quite good, the combat is quite intuitive, not just click then press buttons, you can shift defence, parry to tire them out, dodge attacks with strafing etc.
I did
not notice skill points per level until I had over two hundred, but it did allow me to put loads into bandaging which helps with health recovery. Made a bit of difference, not sure if there's skill training in the game or not.
Protip: nvidia guys, remember to turn on sync every time, do this by poking ctrl and @ and then pick select device in the top right, it doesn't stick after exiting and it improves framerate and jagging a lot.
Protip: If your screen starts showing black bars in it like an fmv video and they don't disappear, change your res to whatever, apply it, then change back, so far that seems to only happen occasionally.
Haven't found/seen a fix four your local/world map going all grey and weird, seems to happen if you enter combat/convo whilst the map is open. editz - zooming in and out a bit seems to sort it out.
I like this game, dunno if it'll attract a load from wow, but it's different enough in quests to stand out. It has more stuff like collecting things by picking them up instead of just killing everything and hoping, or killing pirates at the request of a whore, or using a crane to drop cargo from a ship to the dock to collect what's in the boxes, it does boil down to 'fetch me a carrot and placate the porn demons' but it covers it up well with quite good story.

On the 10th of May we are transforming the entire Open Beta into PvP MAYHEM, while at the same time giving you access to all which Hyboria as to offer! That is right, as we take down our servers for a short period we are at the same time changing the entire server rule-set to Free For All PvP carnage! Your servers will ALL become PvP! Participate if you dare, or make a new character and stay in the safety of Tortage!
Details:
* All servers become PvP servers. You can kill each other – no level restrictions on killing or getting killed, but you cannot PvP in the major cities.
* All level 13 characters becomes level 20. Their inventory is wiped, but they have “tons” of money and really nice equipment suitable for level 20’s. Shopping bonanza!
* You have access to ALL zones and ALL levels after level 20!
* You will be zoned to your Race’s Hub (Cimmerians – Conarch Village, Aquilonians – Old Tarantia and Stygians – Khemi)

I have a couple of crappy screenies, nothing worth sharing.
My current verdict is decent enough, but kinda meh.
Really need to see how it plays at higher levels and runs on a later client.
The game is decent enough, I've not got involved with the story really (I don't care for them in mmongs) but, the areas we've seen so far are fairly limited, which is bad. The persistent areas are rather small, the instanced areas even smaller, but that could just be for testing and shit, we'll have to see once we get the lvl20 jump

I generally hate mongs and the tits and bar fights and it being faster and involving a bit more attention that usual has made me run multiple characters to the beta level limit. I'm enjoying the visceral nature of the game, my best fatality is a ridley scott gladiator esque double sword head scissor off affair with blood squirting all over the screen.
Berk has failed to wander round properly. If you have a quick peak the landscapes feel very small, but given the graphics depth compared to wide open cartoon old as your grandmother wow it's smaller, but a hell of a lot prettier.
The acheronian ruins seem small until you realise there's a volcano and lakes and loads of ziggurats and dungeons and whatnot.
Can't wait to get the fuck out of tortage though, it's silly how small a trading hub it is. Plus the amount of people who ask how to climb or post system specs in global chat is driving me insane, granted it's totally typical to find youtubers in global chat, but it still annoys.
You should already have a later client unless you haven't played in a few days berk, been quite a few updates improving stability, loading and crashes. This does make me wonder how far ahead the current alpha client they have is though, it's due soon so they'd better have the final polish on by the time the pre-oder client kicks off the three extra days before release.
The story is patchy throughout the day, and mostly runs in the single player night sections, I like these, most people couldn't give a fuck.
