Sheriff, I'll be driving down the A1 with Pete anyway and heading right past Doncaster before veering off down the M18, so I can pick you up perfectly easily if you want. No-one else has taken me up on my offer of a lift on the same route so I think it's just be three of us in the car.

Anery and I will be heading along the same route, so I've offered to pick up Sheriff (after he generously offered to come and get me) en route. I've been there before (and I've picked him up before (and I've given him a lift before. It just goes on and on)), so it's probably easiest for me. I've done your journey before, so you'll be grateful of not having to divert 'cos it's a bastard.

Thank you for the offer Lat. However, as Doggers said, he's been here before, and better understands the idiosyncrasies of the Doncaster traffic system, so I reckon I'll jump on the Dog Pants Express to Brum.

Yeah, we need to sort some plans out.

I'll have beer and bag so I can head to the wrong side of the water on the metro if you're anywhere near a stop, then you don't have to head the wrong way to pick me up.

Nah, don't be daft, it'll take me 10 mins to get to you and take you at least 45 mins to get here.

10 minutes on a saturday morning, I think not. But if you insist on driving then fine. At least it's an away game on that saturday, so the toon shouldn't be too busy.

Yes please also.

And is anyone available to pick me up from New Street Station? I can arrange to get there for whatever time is suitable.

Yeah can point RO-BO rider that way, I'm picking Johnson up in London at 11 so 2 Hours 30 later makes 1.30 ish at Brum station, give or take a bit for unpredictable traffics.

That would be lovely.
According to trainline there's a train getting in at 13:36, a minute shy of awesome'o'clock.
