Brum Bash III

Post by Grimmie »

It was inevitable with the success of the previous two Brum Bashes, a third one would roll along soon enough.
And BAM! Here it is, for your curry, booze and bacon pleasures.

Previous thread lies here and same rules apply. Bring some delicious boozes if you can, bring monies for food and drink.

We'll probably be going somewhere similar but a lot nearer than Jimmy Spices, the venue for the previous two bashes. It's a place called Spice Buffet, and while it's slightly smaller it's within walking distance, does practically the exact same range of foods, and is a lot cheaper. (Less chance they'll charge us a tenner for a tiny, tiny beer.)

Morning after routine is crisped up bacons on lots of bread, followed by penguin-delivered lunchtime fish finger sandwiches if you can manage to stay that long.

The bash's sole purpose is for 5punkers to get together, booze, chat, and have a good time. This is strictly not a LAN party, though consoles are usually lugged in and hooked up to the TV for various luls and explosions.

People limit is 14 this time.
Express your interest or ask any questions in this thread.

Proposed but still not confirmed dates are the 26th and 27th of April

Please sign up to the following scheduler entry only if you can CONFIRM you can definitely attend on the given date.

Edit:
Also, wallpapery goodness. I'll fiddle with bigger resolutions later, the background doesn't stretch too gracefully as it is.

I'm interested, but I'll have to check with mein Fuhrer.

Lessons learned from last time:
Don't drink anything Berk offers you
Don't get into a fight with Berk
In fact, just avoid Berk

Yes, this is good.

Lessons I learned:

Don't teabag while cameras are around
Don't sit on the same sofa as Jockgit
Don't eat suspicous nuts
Bring your own plunger
Remind everyone many many times to bring their ID

Sorry Grimmie, due to new time table, it's far too far for me to travel in the limited time I have :(

I'll say a preliminary YES.
Those dates ring a bell for some reason, so I'll check up on it.
Also, hopefully I'll have my licence by then for ID purposes, since lots of places don't like the 18+ card. Cunts.

I am veh definitely interested. However, just like last time I have no cloo about those dates because they're in the far future for my timetabling purposes. I may have job, I may have interview for job, I may have nothing. So I'll have to give you hard confirmation a bit closer to the time, hur hur fnar. ;)

Christ, who are you flying with? I'm seeing $809 for a flight on the 25th apr from OKC, and getting in to Birmingham Int'l (BHX), and flying back on the 5th

Thats coach/economy (17hrs 50m, ouchie!)

BTW If you wanted business its  3.5k, and   3.9k for first class. You could almost have a proper holiday for that much!

Consider me a possibly maybe. Luckily the Grim is only 17 minutes from Brum Intl so I can fly from Inverness. Will it be worth the £80 spent on flights?
