Could I entice you with an exhumers skillbook? Whom should I contract it to, and where are they? :)

Sorry mate! Just got the idea today! Aki paid me for my mins, so I thought I could 'loan' you the isk. It won't take long to mine it up in a Hulk!

despite my protestations, I'm not badly off for isk atm. A mining op with Mano a couple of weeks back helped out plus I've been conglomerating old loot and selling off some ships that I wasn't using. I have enough to get the SB, the hulk and fittings (although not ZOMG factional uber fit) then it should all be good from there.

Thanks for thinking of me though

/edit, I was more thinking of others in the same situation, but parhaps without loads of junk spread out across the galaxy that they can spend time to gather up and melt. The SB + Hulk + fit is a big pill, even with 1/2 price hulks. Once I'm in mine and earning, I'll try and build a stash of isk to help another corpmate over that bump. Once they're in a hulk, I'm sure they can pay for it in no time. otoh, maybe I'll spend it all on shiney things

On the topic of shiny things....

Feeling all nice and flush w/ cash, I bought the Transport Ships SB last night, trainied level one, bought a Viator in Jita, along with the ingredients for 10k Magnetometric Scanner Clusters, moved said ingredients and started them cooking, then bought a full set of +4 implants for my Goram production clone from Dolly, and a Mining mindlink thingy. Mostly because I had the isk from selling off weeks of built up minerals, and because I STILL couldn't afford the uber tank for my Hulk!

/me has a spending hangover today!

Okay, who will be on for this op tomorrow? I want to ensure we've got the resources to deal some major damage to some roids for personal gains! That's right, PERSONAL gain. The corp isn't as strapped for iskies as we were a few days ago, so this op will be all about lining the pockets of our pilots, so they can afford shiny Hulks, or tanks for shiny Hulks.

The one caveat, is that we'll probably mine SOOO MUCH ore, that the mins to isk programme will need to issue IOU's if we break the bank. For those of you working toward Hulks, we can just call it even you've earned enough, and do payouts on the remaining balance.

We should be set on Haulers and crystals though!

So lets munch some asteroid!!!!

I plan to be on after DT until I have to stop for honey-DOO work, hoping to get a coat of paint down during DT so I have 8 hours of excuse to keep me out of the basement. Even working on the stairs late tonite to use that to my advantage as well. Dominque is gone this weekend, so no distraction there.

Fear, did the drones get to Chamemi for shipping? Those should cover tankage for us without faction fits yet, so we can have everyone mining instead of losing a person to tanking.

We'll be hauling the ore next door to the refinery, so could everyone PLEASE name full cans, thus allowing our hauler to use a tractor beam at a semi-central location. So as we rape the belt, they don't have to change their warp-in as often, thus saving them a few minutes per hour, which will hopefully minimize the number of haulers we need. One Iteron V pilot w/ Friz's expanded superboat can haul about 2 cans per trip, so should be able to pull a 4-1 ratio nearly.

shield drones, maybe if we get enough people on that can use them. Otherwise we'll adjust, I've got a Domi there that I can half mine in while tanking if needed.

Isk per miner: 27,315,110.5

For whatever reason, that's all that a single share of the op broke down to. I don't know where it exactly broke down, but I hauled all the ore directly to the refinery, didn't refine until the end (the estimate I did earlier was from the refine screen, but I didn't refine then) and I showed a 99.4% efficiency w/ my skills, and 15% MC tax.

I felt like it should have been more, but my Hulk wasn't mining long, as I was hauling. Bomber was in a Covetor, so not quite what a Hulk can mine, and we had to run from rats several times due to not having a) prime tanking rats, (kept getting NOS'ers), and lack of people that could use shield drones to help boost the tanker.

There weren't any losses though, so it was all profit. I just thought it would have been closer to 100 mil each.....

Next time a better scouted position, less bumping on warp-out, and faster warp-back to boost the tanker would probably be helpful. Getting pilots all into Hulks and having T2 upgrades will help as well. Also, Iteron V's w/ T2 expanders and cargo rigs make for sweet haulers, I had 12 GS's, and could move over 49km3 in a go.

Also, can naming got a little off, and I sometimes tractored non-filled cans, so more practise could help there as well.

Shall we try again tomorrow?

Not mining purely bistot will be the main reason your overall take was low. For a good 5 to 6 hour op with 3 or 4 people stripping one of those belts in VQE, given that you had to haul and warp out from time to time, 30mill per person isn't too bad.

To maximise isk, only mine bistot, split the miners over the belt so you don't contest roids and have the non-hulk pilots do the hauling and/or tanking.

Don't worry about the cans so much :P
