Next Corp mining OP

Post by centerededgedesign »

Last weekend's corp mining op helped to rebuild the corp wallet a bit, but how about a follow-up one to pay for Hulks? The isks not needed for building Hulks can go toward the lasers and crystals and such to fit them. (And for replacements for use out on the ops.)

We had great support, lots of minerals made it into our hangar, and we only touched 2 belts, (we only finished off one of them). If we mine every other week, the pilots will have plenty of isk for all the fun you can have in the rest of Eve!

Proposed date of October 20-21, times dependant upon participants TZ's.

Tis the exact reason I thought we'd skip a week, coincides w/ my child being afh so I can spend some time on Eve w/o losing time w/ her.

If you can be on nights during the week, I might be down there, we can drone shield rep each other!

Does anyone have input as to the beneficiary of the next op? I'd suggest that our next op be member based, so people can get the isk for Hulks, or other shiny ships or implants or whatever they like. ofc, the 15% tax to MC would apply, (makes them happy and keeps us supplied with a home to mine in) and the 10% corp tax to cover jumping the mins about and such. (100-15%= 85, then 85-10%= 76.5, so you're not really losing 25% of your mins as it would seem)

Hopefully in the next two weeks we'll have some Hulks built and moved for even more pilots to fly, and people can mine to pay for them! Oh yeah, and that Rorqual thing might be done by then as well, if you'd like to make it all useful and stuff....

So come along to mine with us and line your pockets and get fitted w/ the best mining ship isk can buy! Train Bistot, Gneiss, and spod to 4, btw, as we'll have T2 crystals on hand. Leave that ruddy T1 stuff in Empire for the kids.

I would be happy with up to 50% to corp, if the corp is in need, otherwise just as you suggest.

I'd like to be generous and say all -> corp, but I (and I guess others) don't have much income so when we're munching rocks it's nice to earn something, and judging by the income from only 2-3 hours last week with Mano, the income is certainly there to be had!

/edit and getting everyone into hulks will of course pay dividends as our isk per hour output will increase significantly

Well, the corp is pretty good for isks atm, with alot of minerals sitting about we can sell if we need more. We've quite a bit of stuff built and on the market as well, so for now getting isk into the pockets of the pilots so they're better fitted for earning isk, (or if they're already fitted well, for their next big shiny goal!)

There's always more-bigger-shinier stuffs in Eve, so getting people sorted to make isk easy is win-win, as the corp will gain better fitted pilots, and have the isk to support them through the voluntary min tax.

There's also rats out there, and probes for exploration. (not that I've ever found a signature to scan down...)

I'll actually pull my finger out for real this time, and get my Hulk up there. Then if I can't make it at the very least there is a hulk for someone to borrow.

I asked Aki to stock us up on those and move for jumping, as well as asking Morril if he can make us more T2 lasers.

How many Hulks/Macks can you move in a go? Also, any chance anyone could pick up a pile of medium shield bots? They worked great for helping Hulks tank last weekend. If everyone could use 5 of those, we'd not need uber expensive tank fits except for solo mining.

np frizi i trust u :)

also i'll check my mining can out there and in goram and send any T2 crystals out there. don't be surprised if there is none but i'll check just in case just not sure off hand at work.

ps dres

to get the cans out there load up a hauler, throw them all in there, fill the cans as well, load in carrier, when you get there u got your cans for uber haulage and it didn't take up any space on the carrier.

I tried that, but Friz said you can't do that on a carrier anymore.

I should be on Sat after DT for 3-4 hours. If there's mining going on I'll join that, otherwise I'll go gate camp whatever that system is we're supposed to be gatecamping, or something.

Will anyone else be on to mine w/ Bomber? I'll be on shortly, but may have business to attend to in Empire re: the Hulky inventing. (We're still going to need some covetors built as components to the Hulks, and they'll take a little market work to top up trit and pye for building them). I'll see what I can accomplish on Friday night though.

Remember though, our next BIG op is scheduled for NEXT weekend, tis why we're scrambling to get Hulks, crystals, lasers, and beers moved in time for the unveiling of our newest mining asset.

I just got hosed by friggin Hubble. I start a 7 day, 12 hour stretch that Saturday, after we already worked a full week. I ♥ projects. So do not count me for this. I am going to try and do a 1/2 day sunday or get out of it and will mine while watching football. Let you know more when we get closer, since my schedule changes hourly.
