Quick update for you all:

I've told ER that we're definitely joining and will throw an app in soon™

They are currently basing out of Eugrana (up near Frulegar :D ) and executing a merc contract against Smash and Roadkill in Geminate. I'll get a political and strategic update on the area soon so you're all in the picture.

They're not in any empire wars at the moment.

I'll have a poke about up in Metropolis and find an office in high sec that we can move our stuff to.

What you need to do:

Get PvP ships prepped and start moving them to Eastern Metropolis. If there's no office yet, head for Aldik

Cap ships get yourselves moved to within jump range of Eurgrana

If you need freighter stuff, I'll be doing multiple runs all week from Goram and Maspah to the new office location.

Everyone should be ready by Friday evening at the latest.

Browsing through the ER ships fitting thread, I think this may actually be a good idea. Nothing much wrong with ER's ofc, but there are quite a few T2 ships fits that don't feature yet.

If I started a thread, could we cherry pick most complete/tested/preferred fits off the BUM board? Anyone bored at work?

are we going to have any freighter runs to new area or near new area? I got 4 AF, 4 Inti and 2 Inter brought over for Red and any mass move would work out pretty well I think.

freighter question - do AF or Interdictors need to be packaged to fit or can the all go fitted?

All ships need to be repackaged to go into a container afaik.

Yup, so I found out too Aki. Presumably all Eternal Rising members have been invited by default, so it should resolve itself tonight once we're in the alliance - slightly earlier than I originally planned, but I accidentally clicked the Leave BUM button yesterday and figured we may as well throw an app in right away

Meanwhile, we can all sign up for the Alliance forum and await clearance from the forum monkey. Let me know if you have any issues (clearance is done manually so can take some time). They have some very useful tools, like a calendar built in and everything.

I've already done a Hello from 5punkorp on the General forum and put a bit about our industrial capability in their industry forum.

Please keep the existance of Nouveau Riche quiet. They know that we have an alt mining corp deep in 0.0 but they do not need to know where or that it has anything to do with MC.

Clarification on NR since someone asked: those who need to know in ER are fully in the picture (i.e. Elf and Sylva). It's nothing sensitive really, but as far as everyone else goes, what they don't know can't hurt them. We have the awesomest deal any corp could possibly ask for: high end ore, ice, exploration and ratting in possibly one of the safest areas of 0.0 guarded by likely the most powerful entity in Eve...for free. I intend to guard the privilege rather jealously so any new members in 5punk won't get immediate access for their alts until they've 'proved' themselves either.
