Dres - nice idea, but one I dismissed out of hand I'm afraid. BUM doesn't have a particularly good rep, and it's not one I want to have our fledgling industrial group tarnished with (not to mention all the negative standings we've picked up along the way). The no war dec thing is essential as well. For comms, we have X-5punkers, this forum and the little used mailing list function that covers those bases more than adequately.

Jimmy & Hehulk - you're going to be directly opposing each other soon. I know I don't need to say it, but for my own peace of mind, please keep the politics to your own forums and don't make me have to do anything unpleasant m'kay? :ahoy:

RIP BUM...

On a lighter note: The alliance lasted 3+mos longer then inital expectations :p

@ Friz: Is there a timeline on moving stuff eastwards?
@ Dres: When I get to Goram i'll contract those BPCs to you. I haven't been near it recently and don't have a clone there atm. Does that work?
@ Jimmy: I thought you wanted to see MoM's blacking out the sun... why you leavin?
@ Hulk: Hai!
@Dolly: CNR's are for mission runners and ---'s (oh wait). Nothing but <3

Anyhow, sad to see the alliance fall apart, but I could see the thread start to unravel when Steamy finally had enough. Since it's time to look forward, I would like to point out how awesome a leader-type Friz is and just give Kudos. Dres stepping up has been sweet and a load off of Frizie Momma's shoulders. I still WTB Free Time, paying Jita +5....

Miro, that would be great. BPC's are going to be in demand, so glad to be able to send isk to a 5punker than outside. The more good we do for each other, the stronger we'll become.

CCP needs to implement 'opening' a container via the contract system to only pull out what you want to contact from the container. My BPCs are all in a small secure container named "Ship BPCs" and that keeps me from contracting across the multi-verse... Meh.

And woah, thanks for the vote of confidence there Miro, always glad to know that I'm appreciated :P

Not actually thought about the timing of the move to ER yet. Things are all happening rather quickly and I need to get my head around it a bit. I'd suggest moving any PvP junk to Maspah for now, since it's our current forward base and within range of GW. Cap ships can stay wherever they are for now. I'll stick up one of more normal info posts in the next day or so once I've got it all sorted out.

Oh, and since I just read Fear's post on hobos re: webhosting (which is an awesome deal for anyone who would take him up) I noticed he was expecting to lose access to their forums shortly. That got me thinking....

Should we canabalize all the ships&Setup info for our own use?

Is there a way to take that section and copy the threads onto a 5punk'y domain so we can access it there or update teh wiki at our leisure? I only ask because there is a TON of good info there that we will most likely lose access to in the comming days.

2cp.

PS. Friz, i've always been a closet Fanboi regarding your efficiancy and determination. One of the main reasons i've stuck around as long as I have :) (rather than afk'ing in a corner somewhere).

Btw this isn't the first Alliance that has asked, but the others weren't that interested in 5punkorp as a whole. My first and most important rule is that wherever I go, I'll take 5punkorp with me and it must be a suitable home that provides all the stuff that we want. So basically I tell alot of people to poke off :)

ER specifically mentioned the whole corp, so we can all take some of the credit for generating that bit of rep. They're currently based in Great Wildlands, having carved out a little bit of space to call their own. Maspah office is close enough hence keeping it open for now. We'll probably make the switch towards the back end of this week. I want everyone to have enough time to get up to speed with developments, move ships around, check politics in ER, empire wars etc before we jump!
When we join ER, is there a closer office for Empire operations than Maspah?

And what are their ship needs. We could prepare a nice order as a 'thanks for inviting us' gift, sell them at cost or something nice.

Oh, and if Jimmy isn't aboard during the 'build everyone a MOM-athon', who should get it? (Or should we sell and watch the wallet become maHOOOsive!)

Selling won't be in the spirit of things. IF we ever get one (really big IF too), it'll need to be piloted by an alt who is capable and active, because it won't be able to dock ever and that alt will be stuck in it until it pops.

Not a bad idea to build a small stock of ships (maybe we could offer the stocks we have already for the corp ships for starters).

And yes, we will move the office once we've got around to actually joining the alliance and all. We're still in BUM atm though :P

Two MoM toons: One high SP pilot to fly the beast, and an alt to park it in :) But you're right, we shouldn't get our Cart infront of our MoM :p

Cut and paste that sucker now. We can wangle it into the wiki later if necessary.

That stuff, albeit mainly Hulk's entries and Eve posts, are my skill planning bible. Rarely actually fly them, just look at them in the hangar.

narf, if your looking for advice on ships, your prolly better off evemail me in-game and saying, how would you fit X or Y for situation Z. I rarely update my set-ups on the wiki, and some of those (Like the Typhoon) are now quite out-dated

There are 3 pages of 20+ threads about ships and fittings and strategy for flying em. Is there an easier way then ctl-c and ctl-v for everything there? I doubt Davik would mind if fear mirrored the link to that section or somthing (I'm talking out my arse here but i'm sure somthing can be done.)
