Have you clicked Save? The options don't appear until you've chosen to save it.
The tutorial doesn't make that very clear, actually.

What's all the VTEX stuff about? Source uses straight TGAs doesn't it?

vtf is the magical source texture file flavour.

tga will do fine as far as sprays go, the importer converts them itself.

I'm pretty sure I have saved the file and tried importing into CS:S, which then complains about the TGA format, but I cant be certain. I'll check tonight and I *blem* myself in advance if that is the fix.

I was ignoring the stuff about VTEX as I know Source accepts TGAs, it's told me enough times about the formats it likes, or more accurately, what it doesnt like.

EDIT: thanks

If someone could spare the time to do me a JockGit spray I would be very gratefull... for those 5punkers in the US a Jock in the UK is not the quite the same as what you have over there.. ie US=Athlete... UK=Chain Smoking Alcoholic succeptible to Heart Disease who lives north of Carlisle.

... do I need to explain what a Git is???

Cheers in advance... :D

think it might be time for a new sprays thread? most of the sprays in this one are deader than flares
