Womble has that really quite expensive Logitech jobbie, should see what he thinks of it. Yup, the G25 really was worth the £120 i paid for it, especially for games like this :). I have been playing Project Torque since it was in its 'alpha' stage and found it pretty fun. Haven't played it in a few ...

Free Chocee

Nothing to do with anything computery, but I just found this and thought some of you tards might want to be in on the act. Basically, cadbury's are giving away free 3-packs of creme eggs (I know some of you won't like them) but they're free and you could chuck them off cars or something. http://www....

Why are you re-installing windows often? How often is often? Not very often, I'd say maybe once a year. I meant it as in virtually never, not less often. Also, as you've said, the old 80gb one probably isnt a good idea, therefore I'll probably just buy another big drive (possibly on of the ones on ...

booting from a small hd

Just before I go and cock my rig up even more than it already is, I just wanted to check that this'll work and can be done; 1. Nuke PC 2. Fit a small, crappy oldish hd (80gb ish) and install windows to it 3. Make windoze boot from it 4. use my main HD for other shit my line of thinking in doing this...

Free gamer magazine thing

Found this site which offers a load of free downloadable e-zines (same sort of thing as PC Gamer etc.) Pretty good on 1st impressions. They come as PDF files and you can subscribe to the alert system when a new issue is published. There are a number of magazines to choose from including an Xbox 360 ...

so basically from what I can work out, I should get the 8800GT unless I can find some spare monies from under the sofa or something, in which case I should get the G92 8800GTS.
Also, don't get an ATI because they're just a bit too cack.

right?

8800's

I'm hoping to upgrade to an 8800 soonish (not too bothered which one, as long as it's not too expensive) from my 8600gt so before I go buying a brand new one, I was just wondering if anyone has one going that they are upgrading from or don't use anymore, to save a few bob :)
Thanks

Magma Expressbox

Just come across this; a box that you can put pci-express graphics cards, sound cards etc. and connect it easily to your laptop for 'gaming on the move'. Just about any type of PCI Express card can be used in ExpressBox1 ranging from audio processing, video capture, graphics, test and measurement, d...

drag and drop failz

for some reason, drag and drop has randomly stopped working. Every time I try to drag and drop a file, whether it be from 1 folder to another, from a folder to msn, a music file into itunes etc. all I get is the little, what looks like a no-entry sign. Copy and Paste works fine as normal so I'm not ...

Free GTA

Not sure if this has been around for ages but GTA 1, 2 and Wild Metal are now available for free on Rockstar's website if anyone feels like a bit of retro-killing-people.
