Not sure if this would be any use to anyone, but thought it might be worth a post anyway:

Basically, Steam are releasing a load of Dev. Tools for free soon ish.

Just to clear this up, these are mainly publishing tools, and practically it's only free if you are not developing a Source-based game. It's basically a tool to sourcify your existing application by adding Steam-based server browser, Valve-style voice chat and other stuff. I like the fact though that you can use it to release betas of the game and even update it hourly.
