Due to me screwing up the date, I've had to push the LAN back a couple of weeks to the 30/04 > 03/05.

It falls on a bank holiday weekend, so we get an extra day in!

In simple terms it's DoTA with a new graphics engine.

Or, it's a 5v5 RTS where you control a hero levelling up (a-la WoW) and try to destroy your opponents base.

It's going to be massive when released. Has over 1m beta players - of which about 1/5 have already paid up.

Hopefully by then, LAN option will be available. The game is due to retail end q1 2010 The list is abit out of ...

If the card is not compatable. . . not sure what can be done.

I saw some "emulator" drivers for the late GF3 / early GF4 to emlate hardware T&L and shaders - they weren't pretty tho.

Is it not letting you install? or run the game?

Knopix will run on pretty much everything you throw at it. Your spec will be great for it as it's not very resource hungry (unless you are running all the gui tools). 800MHZ AMD Duron (thunder-something core) Biostar M7VKH Motherboard 704MB SD133 RAM 300W PSU 2X DVD-ROM Disk wise, I recently picked ...

If you guys decide to go to a Multiplay LAN, let me know - a few of our guys would like to give it a bash - but being such a big event, it's really bad going in small numbers.

LOL How about a little discussion board on your interweb, so people can find out if anyone else wants to play a game easier? Tried it in the past - no bugger will used it. Using the interweb to advertise "now and next" games will help. I think in an event the size of multiplay - yes. But i...

LANSE used to have a BF1942 clan going back a few years - now (our regurlars) we are pretty much like you guys (just better) - being a group of like minded players.
