Commander is give the reins cos he's a "tactical genius"....who lost XCOM 1 after only two weeks. Right.
Re: Discord
I like it. If it'd come along about six months earlier I'd probably be using it. Unfortunately I'd already migrated from Skype (which is being fucked by Microsoft) to Slack (which is good but has no voice) and don't want to move to yet another chat/talky app. Also it doesn't support plugins yet, whi...

Re: Fallout 4
180 hours says this was a good value purchase for me. Enjoyed it far more than FO3 and NV though not entirely sure why. Just seemed to flow better, and there was more to do between the questy bits to keep you occupied. Plus I can make slave pens and fill them with all the black settlers.

Re: Take On Mars
Quick review: I fell asleep. The only thing keeping you going for the first few hours is that you don't realise there's nothing else to do. It doesn't go beyond driving around very very slowly and taking pictures of bits of rock that all look the same. The 'survival buildy' tacked on is poor and has...

Re: Hellduffers
Got this the other day. It's hilarious played drunk. Missions are all a bit samey and ultimately it's just a grind, but it's great fun being utterly incompetent and dying in silly ways.

Re: Friznit Bums...
/bums Sup chaps. I feel rather guilty that I have un5punked for so long. Missed you all! How are things in 5punkyland? I have been playing Fallout 4 far too much, and some Helldivers (which is ridiculously silly) whilst revisiting some old fav's like Shogun 2 and of course the inevitable ArmA3. Lots...

Re: The Old Republic
oh hai 5punk. I randomly googled Xfire Friznit and the first return was me moaning about COD. Who knew. I can't even remember why I googled it now.
I appear to be playing this again. Probably cos I'm bored and waiting for Fallout 4 like everyone else.
I'll say hai in a more relevant thread.

Re: Crafting: Make love or bore?
/delurk In most MMOs, typically it's a dreadful grindfest with no real value due to the need to balance it against everything that comes from drops. I feel compelled to point out, however, that our dearly beloved spreadsheet inclined game set in the vastness of the cosmos was in fact almost entirely...

Re: WoW: Warlords of Draenor
Didn't notice you were playing again. I actually cancelled by sub (for the third time) cos ED Horde was completely dead and the new dungeon grouping system means that although you get to find a group quickly, you never meet people on your own server so it's kinda hard to find an active guild. I got ...

Re: Paid Mods
Charging for mods is nothing new - MS Flight Sim has had paid mods for years. That dude from Maxis who got made redundant was taking payment in advance to make content for Cities Skylines. But the way Steam have implemented it is new, and it's a trainwreck. By far the biggest criticism is that only ...

Re: WoW: Warlords of Draenor
I resubbed a couple of months ago and got my Warrior to 100. Also have a Paladin at around 90 ish, and various scrubs at other levels. I quit again because Emerald Dreams was dead and the only active horde guild didn't seem to be recruiting. I would be up for joining some 5punky dungeons though.

Basically yes. You see a ghost version which you weld as normal. Just means you don't need to place all the blocks down first. You can overlay the ghost on an existing ship for easy repairs too.

Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
Not convinced I could. I suspect I would just get painfully frustrated with it. Sad truth is I just looked at my Steam wishlist and every game on there is Early Access never going to be completed. There's surprisingly little I'm really interested in playing that's not old (Total War, Skyrim... WoW )...

House mate is making we download this again, completely against my better judgement. I feel so horribly dirty. He's on Aggramar Horde so will start a fresh char on that to check it out again, but if (IF IF IF ) I get completely hooked on crack drugs cocaine death again I may resub Friz. You guys on ...
