STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
Oh god.
So far the things of interest are:
Bioshock Infinite for 17.49
Hotline Miami for 1.74
Endless Space for 8.49
Scribblenauts Unlimited for 3.74
I have all these things already. Yayboo.
Also: those fucking cards are everywhere now.

Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
Hotline Miami is almost essential for that price. I didn't think I'd like it but I took a punt for a couple of quid and was really impressed.
Endless Space is to Civ V what Gal Civ was to Civ IV. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes space strategy (but not so much for the combat, if you like warmongering).
I paid about £20 for Scribblenauts on RPSs recommendation (from US Steam). £3.74 is probably what I should have paid.

Be warned people: The steam servers are currently being bummed directly in the pooing areas. You might want to leave it an hour or so.
Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
I was going to grab Bioshock, but then i saw it was a couple of quid cheaper at green man gaming and you can use the 20% off discount code on the front page to get it for about £12 i think it was. Plus it requires steam anyway.

Oh! PCGamesN didn't know what to say about Endless Space in their Steam Sale day 1 article, so I stuck a comment in there. They put it in the article. Yay!

You are now a games journalist! You are now compelled to relate everything to feminism and be accused of corruption every time you say anything is good! Remember to bill them for your review.Dog Pants wrote:Oh! PCGamesN didn't know what to say about Endless Space in their Steam Sale day 1 article, so I stuck a comment in there. Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
Does that mean I can have a Steam journo account? That would be nice, since it keeps rejecting my card (hopefully due to Steam Sales traffic and not my bank).

Yup, same here. Those two games I said I bought? They appeared in my inventory for a bit and then disappeared again, no money has changed hands.

Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
SR3 is a fiver, if you don't own it, Buy it. Now.
Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
McPixel at the bottom of the list for only £0.59, worth it for the dumbness.
I've got:
Hotline Miami - 1.74 GBP (worth seeing what's up for that money)
The Cave - 2.99 GBP (not supposed to be great, but I always have time and money for a Double Fine game)
Antichamber - 5.09 GBP (strange FPS puzzler, interesting enough for a fiver)
The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC - 9.79 GBP (completing my Skyrim DLC set)
Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon - 8.99 GBP (yep)

That's the only thing that's tempted me, but I'm not sure if it's a tenner's worth - I probably only got a fiver's out of Dawnguard as I completely ignored the perks and just did the quest, at the stage in the game I played it there was just never any need to transform.spoodie wrote:The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC - 9.79 GBP (completing my Skyrim DLC set)

Typically during these events, if it isn't a Daily Deal, Flash Sale, or a community vote item, you're better off waiting until the very last day to purchase, as often they go down to an even deeper discount.FatherJack wrote:That's the only thing that's tempted me, but I'm not sure if it's a tenner's worth - I probably only got a fiver's out of Dawnguard as I completely ignored the perks and just did the quest, at the stage in the game I played it there was just never any need to transform.spoodie wrote:The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC - 9.79 GBP (completing my Skyrim DLC set)

Wow, FTL and Just Cause 2 for under £2 each. Anyone who doesn't have them should pick them up.

Re: STEEEEAMM SAAAAAAAAAALE
Are you all trying to use stored card details? I had problems doing that but it worked fine if I just went and said it was a new card and entered all the details manually again.
