Fishing
Does anyone know anything much about fishing? I want to start doing a bit of beach/rock casting from the seaside near me, but know nothing about the kit I need to get. From the small amount of fishing I did in Wales recently, I think all I need is a long beachcasting rod, a reel (although I'm not sure what type) and something like a 6-fly line and some weights. One of my mates reckons ebay is the best way to go, but prices seem to vary so much that my uninitiated mind is overwhelmed. Can anyone point me in the general direction of the basic kit I need to get to be able to start and how much I should be looking to pay. I'm optimistically hoping for some basic stuff for up to £30ish.

Better googling has the answer. £20 to £40 is the price given for beginner's rod and reel. Hurrah.
