Clips: Last Remnant
This is the first trailer for Squeenix's "RPG for the world" Last Remnant. And it presents around, oh, zero pieces of information on how it plays, or what indeed is going on. But it does look very nice. If your proverbial fancy is tickled, the game's English-language site just opened, so drop by and say hello.
The video's not massively clear - there are some obvious similarities to the FF series in the Boss design, but it sort of looked as if you controlled a whole squadron, rather than a handful of characters.
Could go either way, not every FF-spinoff game is good, and not every non-FF game SE make sucks. Hopefully they'll no repeat their usual error of putting in all the combat ideas rejected for inclusion in the next FF game.
