The whole point of this forum is to get people playing together in the great WoW universe, but by the looks of things we are all going to be spread over the multiple servers Blizzard have given us.
So we need to decide what type of server we wish to create our Alts onto; PvP, Normal or RP. The differences can be seen the FAQ thread
We can then get a nice low population server selected and get a Guild started.

hmm
I chose 1, but I would also have chosen 4 if I could.....
I find it difficult to juggle a few characters, as I get really into one of them and abandon the other, leaving him trailing behind friends and guildsmen

I chose RP as I find the people are nicer, and Normal would be my second choice - but I would be prepared to play on PvP if we had what's effectively a ready-made guild.
My main dislikes of PvP are only really relavant when solo-ing - I find it intensely annoying to not be able to explore the region without powerful characters killing you on a whim:
Me: "I'll have a look down this road, the nearby monsters aren't so hard that I can't cope"
Level 100 invisble troll mage on a horse: "Oh look a level 0 idiot in my neighbourhood - I can get 0.0000000001 XP by killing him, simply by waving my Super Magic Staff of Aceness in his general direction"
Me: /dies
/repeat
So, if playing as a group, I'm guessing the exploration ascpects would fall away, to be replaced with more team-orientated goals, profession development and attempts at local instances - only going to the spots where the bullies lurk when we were hard enough to take them on.
