Clips: Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer

Image Clips: Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer

I can't help it, this video gets me all antsy to play Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I'm particularly interested in the "Coward's Way Out" button. Is that like a suicide option? Intriguing. Hit the jump to check out another gameplay video and an interview with a developer about multiplayer design.

Well, could be interesting.

the stuff they're doing with player loadouts kinda sounds like the bastard child of 2142, Raven shield and a mmporg.

Quite meh IMO from what I can see, all the preview video is from console though, so the PC stuff could be a different animal (take COD2 BRO on PC and on Console).

That was because the consoles at the time were the XBox and PS2, they've caught up a bit now and can play mostly the same games, albeit at a lower resolution, usually.

Not so much the look of the game, but the gameplay is entirely different.

Looks pretty, but it concerns me too, Almost seems like they're trying too hard to rip-off two popular games/themes. Which might make me take against it.

Shooting through walls isn't that big a deal really, its been possible in CS and CS:S forever, it's only useful for nearly the nearly dead and people hiding badly.

It'd be nice to see them put /any/ physics, that's one area CoD has always been sadly lacking.
