started going on Surf_ maps about a week ago, fixed 2 em now they r real good fun! ne1 tried them?

I tried them a few weeks ago, quite fun but couldn't really get my head around it. Any tips?

I play counter-strike to shoot people not "surf"...

What are these Surf_maps you speak of?

they're maps where you "surf" on ramps.

They're good fun for about 10-15 minutes, then they get boring.

What I'd like to see id opposing Surf Maps, where everyone fights it out once they get in the middle.

That way if you're good enough to make it to the middle, you still have to shoot your opponents.

i like to surf quite alot but it does get very boring and as woo elephant yea said i would like to see a map where when u get to the middle you kill each other but for now ill stick with surf_egypt

pretty good fun i thought. most of them have weapons of some kind, but it usualy takes the fun out of it. its fucking crazy when your drunk i tell yee that

Are these anything like Ninja maps? Well, a Ninja server. I played on one the other day and whenever I start my own server (to play against teh b0tz0rz), you can jump about 20 feet into the air and when people die they float to the ground slow-mo, Matrix-style. I need to get rid of it.

I had a quick play of surf egypt, and while the level aesthetically resembled a dog's anus when viewed through a microscope I can kind of see how it could be fun - like Sonic the Hedgehog rail-grinding but with big guns.
Didn't quite get the hang of it though - >splat<

^ again makes me think that it's no good. I can't be bothered.
