Last wednesday I got a phone saying Hey, richard? This am teh army. How would you like to start july 2nd? Bit of shock, I said yes, so I'm vanishing in *checks calendar* 6 days.

I'll be back for a brief spell end of august (If I get time between seeing friends/family) then I get a bit more of a break end of september/begining of october before I vanish again until february time. Then I get another break before I'm off to my regiment and phase 3 training. Heard mixed things about how hard I'll be required to work there, so I may be back proper at that point (Well, near enough. No more 80 hours of eve a week, that's for sure  ) or I'll be MIA again until, I think, july-august ish at which point I'm finally officially part of the british army and start working regular 9-5 hours unless I'm off on campaign/exercises (But then I get paid more, so I like that :) )

Don't expect to be on much after tonight, as tommorow I go take my oath (and go celebrating), thursday I'm (in theory) getting very drunk with mates one last time, and friday I'm off for the weekend to spend some time with teh family before I leave very fucking early monday morning.

Of course, this does mean the CSS tournament is a bit stuffed now. Sorry about that

EDIT: Forgot to say, I didn't get into the RAC (Royal Armoured Corp), so I'm REME instead (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Enginnerings) as a vehicle mechanic :)

The CSS tourney probably won't have started by the time you're able to play stuff again. Good luck chap.

Haha, yeah, neon strip lights would look mint underneath a tank. "Pimp my killing machine"!

And I told you that people other than Eve'rs would be <strike>glad</strike> sorry to see that you're leaving earlier than expected. ;) Best of luck chap.

Huzzah,

Hehulks in teh army now,
He'll learn how to milk a cow,
His officers arse he will plow.
Up hill down dale he will run,
Looking good with a big gun.
Keeping busy knobbing bum!

That is all.
