Well, I heard there were compatibility issues with Fista, so I'd assumed they would drop it. No such luck.

I've ordered it, pre-order discount ends on the 14th incase anyone else decides they want it now.

Evil as starforce is, Trackmania is generally good fun, so I preordered :D

Yeah, I really like the Trackmania games. I'm not going to run the risk of installing Starforce and the like though. What baffles me is that they put it in TMN, which is free. Why copy protect a free game?

basically in this case they use one bit of starforce (not the drivers (that cause the fuckups)) to phone home, nothing more apparently

From what I have read on teh intarwebz, they put starfarce in Nations because it was basically using the same code as the other games, and not protecting in could have lead to hacks on the other games.

starforce seem to be giving away $10000 to anyone that can prove that starforce programs or installation cocks up their cd/dvd drive. i dont know whether this has anything to do with what this topic is about because im too tired to read it properly but i thought id post it anyway :)

also if you look at the bottom of the page where theyre giving away anti-spyware for $10 and under there is a counter of applications recieved.....
