Probably a good map to have as a first map on the new BF2 server, as it would attract randoms easily to fill up the numbers a bit.

Looks shit. Tanks will be able to avoid mines, dodge AT and see SF sneaking up on them from a mile off.

I was hoping for something similar to Jalalalalalalalalalalalalabad where once they actually approach any of the spawn-points then the terrain closes in lots and tank death can then be inforced. I'll check it out tonight or tomorrow. Is it all open then, like the Amourous Furries maps?

This might be what is needed for me to find my BEEF DVD then....

Also, speshul horses night ftw.... maybe? I used to run them every Sat night and always got full. Support guy gassing the fuck out of the enemy = win.

Probably this, kinda. thing is only a few 5punkers have SF, so it'd be a choice of a less full 5punky server, or a full server with only a few 5punkers on.

also, this new map looks like shit. that is all.

5punkers become moar speshul please.

(It's the only add-on to the BEEF series that is actually worth buying - I wouldn't have bought the others with hindsight, nor 2142)

Heh, and speshul is the only addon I don't have. I probably won't bother to be honest, for the amount I'm likely to end up playing it - 1 or 2 nights of gaming a week doesn't lend itself to more expansions just now.

I didn't really like SF because I found the night maps to be annoying. The day maps were good though.

It is, if you like vehicles. From my point of view it is good and has its place, but sometimes I also really like playing as infantry on a map. Sharqi and Karkand are good examples of maps that I will sometimes play as an armour-whore, but if its a busier server then it's often more fun to get stuck in as infantry and shoot people instead. It is generally a matter of individual preference but also depends largely on the mood I'm in at the time.

I'll counter by saying a good AT whore can really mess up all the vehicles in all the AF maps, and the Engineer's AT mines are very handy for defense. It does limit the classes who don't have a way to take out vehicles, for sure.

on the other hand, if you can get 2-3 tanks in an engy convoy, they're utterly unstoppable.
