Fallout Tactics

Post by Dog Pants »

A little while ago (something about a Fallout 3 demo) I mused about how good Fallout would be co-op. Well after seeing Herecomespete playing Fallout on Xfire I decided to see what had happened to the series since I last played it years ago. I was hoping for a co-op mod, but what I got was a reminder that Fallout Tactics is actually multiplayer. So I've just installed it and I'm going to have a play. Anyone fancy a game over hamandcheese?

I would if I had a copy.

I've got to hunt for one actually, will need it to finish my collection after One and Two.

Hmmm, doesn't seem to have installed after all, despite copying 3 CDs worth of files. In fact, all the files have disappeared again. I'll investigate more tomorrow (I have played it before by the way and it's pretty good, just lacks some of the RPG aspects of Fallout and Fallout 2, which I also have).

It isn't co-op unfortunately, it's PvP. Even so, Laser Squad Nemesis was pretty fun like that so I reckon this might be good too.

Fairly I think. I'd give that a go too.
