Well, given all of the good shows are ending in americaland now, I'm on the hunt for crap to watch so I don't have to use my brain.

So far I've found

Legit:
Joost Worldwide, free, not the best content, but good filler.
4 on demand UK only, Free for C4 shows for a week after airing. Quite handy.

Iffy:
IpdirectTV Dodgy as hell, few quid a month on demand service (used to be series streams, which was better, imo)

Yup, I only got on the trial because I pressed back every time it said they no-longer needed my input.

As a result, I'm a 50 year old black woman from Wales

Woo.

The BBC iplayer thing seems ok, not nearly as good as the 4od app.

Either way, both are fully compatible with FairUse4Wm. so that's good :)

Anyone know of any free (or subscription based) streaming jobbers to fill my nerdy mind?

Mostly looking for Discovery channel, History channel, and national geographic, without the fucking about of having to acquire a TV.

Proxy stuff can be quite iffy for streaming.

no real desire anyway, their docu selection is smaller than a small thing hit by a smallificator.
