Confession Tiem!

Post by spoodie »

So I reactivated my subscription. 8)

And created a new character called "spoodie" funnily enough. I've got an old character who has got some money/ships and stuff. Can I transfer his assets to my new character before deleting him?

The easiest way is to just 'give money' to your new character, then, if your stuff is all in one place, just contract it to yourself. Don't delete the character until you've accepted the contract though. (Also betting you may have never heard this word 'contract' in eve, so go through the tutorial for it to make your life easier, also, don't transfer all your isk to your new character until AFTER you've done this, as there are fees).

Hope that helps.

But you might as well keep your old toon anyway, as it will be a character that already has those skills trained. Then you can utilize them for what they were trained for, (pvp, pve, mining, or whatever) and send your new character in another direction completely.

I managed to transfer some of the money but didn't transfer all, luckily. Thanks for the info, I'll look at the contract tutorial for more.

I don't think I can cope with more that one character but I'll keep him around for old times sake and your never know.

Woo and yay etc. Dres (cetnreedgedesign :above: ) is by far the best man to lead you through the ropes again, he has more patience than is right for a sane person (assuming ofc he is sane, which I begin to doubt come to think of it :P ). Depending how long you played before, your new toon might actually have better skills than your old.

Thanks, I'll do that stuff what you said. I'll have plenty more questions once I've moved on a bit more.

I think I've got more than enough if I transfer it from my old character. Plus a couple of ships, the best of which nearly got destroyed when I was moving it nearer my new character. That'll learn me to mine in a none safe area with no guns or shields.

I don't want people to give me stuff and then me get distracted from the game soon after. Thanks for the offers though.

Come down to where the fleets are, flying a frigate with fighters assigned to you is great fun, cheap and will be helpful in kicking faces in :)

Welcome Spoodie, you've joined at a good time (unlike 3 months ago, which was not such a good time...)

Lots going on and most of it involving large explosions. Welcome again! :ahoy:
