Tournament Line-up

Post by Lateralus »

Teams and groups are as follows:

Group A
  • 1. Joose and Grimmie

    2. Berk and Lat

    3. Dog Pants and Gunslinger

    4. Shot2bits and Stoat

    5. Hehulk and Deject
Group B
  • A. WEY and Father Jack

    B. Anhamgrimmar and Buzzmong

    C. Fabyak and M4niachicken

    D. Mr Bobbins and Roman

    E. Tezz and Prof Hawking
Each team from group A needs to play all 4 other teams, and the same for group B. The top two teams at the end of this stage go through. Any draws will be decided by total maps won, with a single-map play-off if still even.

If people are happy with this, then I propose that the games get started as soon as people are ready. Screen-shots of all results too please, just to avoid disputes. The sooner we get started, <strike>the longer we can drag it out for</strike> the sooner it will be done!

I'm pretty much free for the next two weeks, then I'm on a two week course so will be entirely unavailable. I'll play whenever's good for other people.

Don't you think RO-BO should be in a different group to Team Loser?

Or was it planned that way to prevent the same final as last time?

Not especially bothered either way due to :robo: > ALL

Well they could still be in the final together from the same group, so it doesn't really matter either way. Of course, that depends on them both getting through. :)

I can't do Thursday nights as I'm at work, but most nights I can pitch up for an hour or so, at the very least I pitch up for the games I'm in if I'm busy with life and bananas and other such items which demand attention.

Edit: Crappers, in the group with ROBO. I'll have to put some practice in so at least I can go down shooting.

I'm free virtually every Monday these days. How difficult would it be to set up 2 servers, to enable 2 matches to be played at once? I know it may not be neccessary, but it could be good to have the option there. Just a thought anyway.

generally for me, weekdays are preferable to weekends. I tend to have been scheduled by my social secretary for some godawfull gathering of relatives/friends or some such at the weekends.

We are on a kind of spacky shift thing at werk, but I should always be back by about 6ish, so any time after that, till about midnight.

I could probably work it in most times as long as I can plan it in.

I should be ok to play most weeknights from 8pm onwards. This can change on a daily basis at the moment as I have Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome as a side effect from the glandular fever I had earlier this year. Basically If I need to crash out I have to sleep regardless of anything else. :(

The only illness RO-BO feels is revulsion at soft, squidgy mortals
All venues have banned RO-BO from concerts due to excessive deaths in the mosh area
If RO-BO had a mother, she'd werd you

Technically RO-BO has Deject's mother in a cage on his shoulder.

What about if RO-BO is featured in the concert, possibly supporting Rod Stewart?

In the 60's RO-BO was asked to support Jim Morrison in concert.

He refused to open for The Doors.

Pffffft. Possibly an unfair application of the Bob47 rank since no game had been arranged for you to shirk, but funny nevertheless since it was your suggestion.
