CSS Tournament #2

Post by Grimmie »

Shall we give it another shot and learn from our past, horrendous mistakes?
Hearding cats, pissup in brewery etc, but between the huge gaps between games and random absences we actually had quite a good time. RO-BO and Team Winnar were born, amongst a plethora of other unlikely partnerships and frightening spraytags.

For tradition's sakes I think the two finalist teams from last time should stick together (That is, if they still wish to play) and the rest reform to make a new amalgamation of freakish teams in the random-number generator type thing. Slightly stricter and more refined rules, and experience in two past tournaments might actually make this one enjoyable to play..

So, what say ye brave people of 5punk?
YAY! or NAY!

I have abstained,

Not due to RO-BO's inevitable victory in this new tournament...

But due to the fact that I havn't been able to get CS to work for months and have now given up trying to find a solution.

Yay!

Even though it was a disaster, it epitomised what 5punk is all about - having fun, with actually winning as a lesser concern.

- it was a laugh
- it gave us ROBO
- doing new logos might be a lot of fun
- chicken can't change sides to whoever's winning at the time
- absurdly bad people are most definitely welcome
- we could make up some new and ridiculous rules this time, so that no-one is able to take it seriously

I'm going to say Nay because I didn't enjoy the last one due having to wait around for ages for people to stop throwing up or something. Naming no names :robo:

I think it's a bloody awful idea. I'm in.

I reckon me and Fabyak should team up on account of us both being completely shite. I always aim for the wooden spoon.

I think it was pointed out in the last thread that you're actually a renegade CSS bot.

I assume we'll do the same rules (but clearer) as last time (hopefully different maps though)

Randomly selected teams (to try to avoid superleet teams happening)

Maps agreed on by majority. (maybe try a CS map this time, but with decent rules on hostage killing?)

Relentless mocking for those who faaabulous out and hide.

Couple of extras (for if someone gays out and hides)

Anyone taking it seriously will be required to close his eyes and spin around for 30 seconds before playing.
