Dear Mr Baker
As part of a study into increasing publicity for our publications we have made a poll of the most common referees to the associated website of each of them. The study has revealed that not only is 'I Love Horses' magazine our most popular periodical, but that it is also our most popular website by a long margin. The study also revealed that your website was among the top referees of the 'I Love Horses' website.
In the coming financial year we plan on extending our internet advertising campaign, building on the already substantial profile the magazine has in this area. Based on the information gathered in our study, we are pleased to inform you that we are considering your website for the first traunch of our online advertising campaign.
Should you wish us to consider an offer of advertising on your website please reply in the affirmative to this email or provide written confirmation to the address below within 10 working days.
Regards
Dave Williams

Yes, yes you should. Stick it next to the Google syndication on the front page. Its the only banner ad we could possibly allow, and an advert linking to that page will earn maximum kudos for 5punk.

This. It makes me wonder if they have ever actually bothered to visit b3ta or 5punk to see why they get so many referrals.
But if we do get subscriptions, I can't wait to see the centrefolds *fwaps*

Bastard! That's one more referral then. I love that they've not actually bothered to check what the sites are that they're linking from. Does this mean we should change the site from blue to pink?
